👧 What is the Tamil Nadu Girl Child Protection Scheme?
Under the Tamil Nadu Government’s Girl Child Protection Scheme:
- If a family has only one girl child → Government provides a ₹50,000 Fixed Deposit
- If a family has two girl children → Government provides ₹25,000 each
The deposit is made by the Tamil Nadu Government in the child’s name.
✅ Eligibility
- Family must belong to Tamil Nadu
- Only girl children in the family
- Parents should have undergone family planning surgery
- Child registration must be completed within the eligible age limit

Step 1:
Visit the official Tamil Nadu Social Welfare Department website:

Step 3:
Fill in the required details:
- Child Name
- Date of Birth
- Aadhaar Details
- Income Certificate
- Family Card Details
- Sterilization Certificate
Step 4:
Upload the required documents and submit the application.

⚠️ Important Information
- After applying, verification will be done by the local Social Welfare Office.
